Paris. When I think about Paris I think about the endless cafes that line the streets. Elegant ladies and gentlemen sit at little tables upon characteristic bistro chairs with coffee and a butter croissant chatting, musing and people-watching. There is the classic romantic atmosphere of the evening with twinkling lights and the Eiffel Tower; but I like to think of the crisp mornings, bright air and the uninterrupted space reminiscent of that lonely girl looking over the Seine River waiting for something to happen.
The Golden Age and the roaring twenties were lively and rich, and the romance of Paris has been forever idolized. Paris remains perhaps the most romantic ideal for the dreamers of the world, but how would a modern take on dreamers in Paris look like today? French Bistro meets Nordic Design takes the symbolic design of classic Parisian romance into a neutral state where white minimalism allows dreamers to dream bigger.
What do you think of our design idea for French Bistro meets Nordic Design? Would Ms. Zelda Fitzgerald enjoy our space?
